ASI held for taking bribe

Aurangabad (Bihar), Nov 11 (PTI) An assistant sub-inspector of police was arrested by state vigilance bureau while accepting a bribe of Rs 2,000 from a teacher at Khudwa police station in the district today.

Acting on a complaint from the teacher, the vigilance sleuths raided the police station and caught Ramnarayan Singh red-handed while taking the graft, vigilance sources said.

He is being brought here for interrogation, they added.
